Assistant Director of Assessment and Crisis

Direct the educational and neuropsychological testing services and manage the crisis process for the Wellness Center Mental Health Services (WCMHS). Supervise a fulltime staff as well as part time employees as needed provide assessment training and supervision to professional staff and Wellness Center Mental Health Services (WCMHS) trainees; expand and assess the use of  assessment tools used across all areas of mental health services; provide primary risk assessments and crisis interventions for UCCS students, as well as develop a crisis protocol that will be fluid and will inform crisis service decisions for WCMH; provide psychotherapy (individual, couple/family, group) and other forms of psychological support to UCCS students and provide campus-wide psychoeducation/outreach sessions on various relevant topics.
