Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS) is seeking to fill an opening for a Staff Therapist. This position will see clients in the main CaPS office and also be embedded part-time in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Resource Center. This is a full-time, on-campus position.
The Staff Therapist delivers goal-directed therapy services to RIT students, offers consultation with families and RIT community members, provides educational and outreach programming, and supports the training of graduate trainees in mental health fields. The successful Staff Therapist values a multifaceted approach to supporting student well-being involving strongly linked clinical and training efforts; collaboration with the campus community; mental health prevention/early intervention; and commitment to accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will have specialized interest and experience working with clients of diverse gender and sexual identities.
