Psychologist

The Texas State University Counseling Center strives to provide services and programs within a framework of professional competence, affirmation, and inclusive of a variety of lived experiences. The staff seeks professional colleagues interested in joining a team committed to enhancing campus services to better support all students. The Counseling Center works with a culturally and economically diversified student community. Accredited by IACS, the Center is also proud to host a well-respected APA-accredited doctoral internship program as well as practicum training and a post-doctoral residency. The successful candidates will have a generalist orientation and evidence knowledge and experiences responsive to the needs of the student body. In addition, they will possess specific interests and experience in providing varied services which support the mission of an engaged university counseling center located within a Division of Student Success and a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI).
